Welcome to Oxford Vehicle Hire Services. These Terms of Service govern your use of our website oxfordvehiclehire.co.uk and our vehicle rental services. By using our services you agree to these Terms and accept the conditions set out herein.

1. Tenancy Agreement

All vehicle rentals with Oxford are governed by a detailed Rental Agreement provided at booking confirmation or at vehicle collection. The agreement sets out specific terms, conditions, insurance details, charges, and your responsibilities for the individual rental. If any conflict arises between these Terms and the Rental Agreement, the Rental Agreement will prevail.

2. Oxford Eligibility

To rent a vehicle from Oxford, you must:

• Be at least 21 years old (age restrictions may vary by vehicle type, with additional charges applicable to drivers under 25). Hold a valid, full driving licence appropriate for the vehicle category, held for the minimum period specified in the Rental Agreement. Provide valid identification and proof of address or other documentation requested by Oxford.

3. Reservation and Payment

• Bookings may be made through our website, by phone, or in person at our Oxford location. A booking deposit may be required to secure your reservation. Full payment and a security deposit are generally due on vehicle collection. All prices are in British Pounds (£) and include VAT where applicable. ...

4. Vehicle Pickup and Return

• At Oxford, you must inspect the vehicle on collection and report any existing damage immediately. A vehicle condition report will be completed and signed. Return the vehicle in the same condition as collected, allowing for normal wear and tear. New damage will be assessed and charged accordingly.

5. Liability and Insurance

• Basic third-party insurance is included with all Oxford rentals. Full coverage details and the excess amounts are set out in the Rental Agreement. Additional insurance options may be available to lower the amount for which you would be liable. We recommend that you review these options carefully. You are responsible for damage or loss up to the excess shown in the Rental Agreement.

6. Cancellation and Amendments

Cancellation and amendment terms differ by booking type and notice period. Please consult your booking confirmation or Oxford Rental Agreement for specific details. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur charges.

7. Restricted Uses

Do not use the rented Oxford vehicle for:

• Use of an Oxford vehicle for any illegal purpose or activity. Racing, rallying, off-roading or other hazardous activities. Transporting hazardous or dangerous materials. Sub-letting the vehicle to third parties or permitting unauthorised drivers. Operating the vehicle while impaired by alcohol or drugs. Use of the vehicle for purposes for which it was not intended.

Breaching these restrictions may lead to immediate rental termination and additional fees.

8. Limitations on Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by English and Welsh law, Oxford will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, loss of data or loss of business arising from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the total fees paid by you for the services in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Applicable Law

These Terms for Oxford are governed by English and Welsh law. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of English and Welsh courts.

10. Oxford Terms Update

Oxford may modify these Terms at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting on Oxford's website. Your continued use of Oxford's services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
